Internal Hemroid Symptoms
When a person suffers from long term constipation, the eventual result is Hemroids. The veins around the anus become inflamed and also swell up giving too much pain to the affected person. Swelling is also accompanied with additional problems. They develop into fissures and eventually become fistulae. One of the first symptoms is a very severe constipation and a very severe burning sensation. This will also be accompanied by itching and passing of blood with stool.
Let us take a look at what causes internal hemroid. When a person has a persistent constipation he is likely to strain too much. This will happen every time he tries to pass stool. Apart from this there is an another reason which happens to be the primary reason for the long time taken to pass stool. Internal hemroids will destroy the mucus inside the anus and bring upon great difficulty in passing stools. A pregnant lady might have this problem as there is too much blood flow to the abdomen. But this problem will fade away after the delivery is over. A person who does little exercise will have this problem as he will be over weight. Generally, a person who does not include fiber in his diet will experience this problem.
Some times, Hemroids are internal and you may have blood oozing from the inside region of the anal cavity and a hemroid may become so large that it may protrude out of the anal cavity. The protruding hemroid is more severely painful and it comes out when the person tries to pass stools.
This condition warrants that a doctor must be immediately consulted as the patient may need surgical treatment. The first thing the person should do is to fight off the constipation problem. By eating fruits and drinking lots of water the constipation problem may be solved. Depending upon the condition of the hemroid the doctor will recommend some mild laxatives to be taken with tablets that reduce the pressure of blood in the veins around and inside the anus. These veins are essential for the normal bowel movements and are playing a vital role in sending the waste material out.
Due to an indifferent and careless diet we may end up injuring these veins which become hemroids. Though not so painful first, when it begins to protrude out, maximum pain will be experienced by the patient.
Internal hemroids are of two types and exhibit two different types of symptoms. Those hemroids that lie in the upper part of the anus do not have many sensory nerves around that area. So you will not feel much pain from this type. But when the problem gets severe you can see blood oozing out.
The second type of internal hemroid is very painful. This is because it will lie in the lower part of the anus which has too many sensory nerves. When the hemroid begins to protrude out and the patient is in extreme agony the doctor will consider surgical options.
