Heal Hemroids

Hemroids are only blood vessels that run around the rectum that get uncomfortably swollen due to a variety of reasons. Most of these reasons are entirely due to our making. Hemroids occur due to constipation and over weight. This may also occur due to old age, pregnancy, anal sex and due to lifting of heavy objects. All Hemroids are always accompanied by constipation and straining to pass stools worsens the situation. There is unbearable pain in the anus and rectum and there is some blood passed with the stools. There is severe itching in the area around the anus and rectum and he patient adopts an irritable mood all the time.

But you have a cure for this condition and so you need not worry. These treatments vary from one patient to another patient depending upon the severity of the Hemroids and you need not worry. Just because your friend who complained of Hemroids had to have his Hemroids surgically removed, does not mean that you also would need surgery.

Let us look at some mild treatments first. You can sit in warm water for about half an hour twice in a day and this would help in reducing the swelling of the veins around the anus considerably. If possible you can arrange to have hot steam reach your rectum which will offer a temporary solution to the extreme pain. The inflamed veins will be shrunk by this. There are any number of creams and ointments that are available now that you can apply. If you apply the Aloe Vera cream over the Hemroids it will have a soothing effect and also help in shrinking the Hemroids. Some ointments have anesthetic ingredients in them and so can relieve you from the immense pain. But please note that this relief will be only temporary and can not offer you a lasting solution. If the Hemroids are only in the initial stages and if you start acting fast to get a permanent cure then these ointments can be the ideal solution to get relief from the pain. You can apply Vitamin E oil around the rectum and get some relief.

A good work out lasting for about an hour every day will see to it that the swelling of the veins around the rectum subsides gradually. As an alternative to the creams you can have tablets every day that would reduce the pressure of blood in the veins around the rectum and get relief from the swelling. Mean while, dietary fiber intake must be increased and you should drink lots of water. This will ease constipation and make the daily passing of stools an easy thing to do.

Only if none of these steps work the doctor will recommend a ligation that might be a solution. This is merely tying up a hemroid, with a rubber band tightly and allows no blood supply to it. This will shrink the hemroid and to make it dry and wither away. The hemroid is only a swollen blood vessel and it will dry up if there is no blood supply to it.
